Default outside fairing

I have picked up some fairing mount mirror's for my ultra and I also have a pair of hog tune speaker's for my bike. Any tricks in pulling the fairing? Can I leave the running light's on it and still pull the fairing? Not sure about the mirror's I love the looks on the street glide. Any tricks to help me save my inner fairing when I mount them? Thanks guy's

I covered my front fender and loosened the mounting screws on the passing lamp bracket to lower them out of the way on my Ultra.
