I have a pocket PC with TomTom navigator mounted to my bike. It works great. I used a RAM mount and from what I can see about RIDER it has the same kind of ball used in a RAM mount but the mount they use doesn't have a ball at the handlebar end which means you can't swivel it except at the top. I would get a RAM mount and use it instead.
