Same rain gear for 9 years? You in Arizona or what?
I don't have anything 9 years old. You needed newer. lighter rain gear
when Clinton was president. (You know we landed on the moon....right?)
Your rain gear have brass zippers?
(I love polyester)
I have an expensive set that I have not used yet, but I did use the packable pouched HD set. It was light and kept me dry on a 2 hr ride in the rain. Only problem is I don't have a clue on how to get them back in the hood which acts as a pouch.
If yours worked well for you for nine years, I would go back with HD. Never quit a winner. I have the HD Overpass and it works very well in heavy rain. Be careful about getting something that is not made specifically for motorcycle riding. Much of that lightweight stuff will beat you to death or melt on your exhaust pipe. Been there.
