As was said earlier, eBay is worth a try, though I will say that in 3-4 months of searching for the removable sissy bar in the tall height, I never did run across one there. Also, crazy as it sounds, the stuff often seems to go for damn close to retail. It continues to amaze me that people will pay what amounts to a couple bucks less than retail then add shipping to it, just to get someone's used, greasy fingerprinted shop manual.
I bought the Motherwell rack. Doesn't compare to any Harley rack. I wound up selling mine, and buying the "real deal" @ Zanottis for 20% off. The Harley stuff may be made in Taiwan, but I have always been 100% satisfied with every accessory I have bought.
