What are some of the best ways to clean your tire and wheel? Most products say "Don't use on motorcycles" so with that being said I guess just good ole soap and water huh!?
Purple Coastal Cleaner. 1 gal about 6 bucks. Its a degreaser / detergent. Wont harm your paint or chrome. Also use it full strength with joy dish washing detergent and water.
I bought the Eagle One Nano spray on wax and other Eagle One products including the wheel and tire cleaner after reading the forum. Loved the wax. Second time as I cleaning the bike with these products I read the wheel and tire cleaner and it said don't use on motorcycles. What's up with that. Stopped using the wheel and tire cleaner.
Hey Zood! Thanks for making me the heat shields!!! They really do the job and look great!
I had removed my wheels and painted em. I laid the clear coat on thicker than normal (sanding between coats, of course) on the porous metal surface area. It eliminated the need for little brushes or even a long handled glass/ bottle cleaner.
I use the S100 wheel cleaner, but any wheel cleaner that is safe for use on clear coated wheels is cool. As for my tires.....well I usually like to just hit the sidewalls with some dish soap and water and a good wheel brush.

hey sparky, good morning to ya! I have to admit. they do look good on your scoot. I started adding your color studs to my options list on the site. Even named it. "ice green"
I use HondBrite spray cleaner. It comes out as a foam. Spray on, hose off. Very easy and does a great job. Biodegradable. Safe for clear coats, plastics, etc. About $10 a can. Very good for hard to reach nooks and crannies. Use it when changing oil where sometimes I get oil down in the motor mount area. Cleans it right up cutting the oil. Ends up looking brand new. Probably the same thing as S100 but I have never tried that. I've never did any rubbing or brushing when using the Hondabrite and results always looked very clean.
Do the white walls first with Mr. Clean's 'Majic Eraisers' and water only. Available at auto stores, Wallmart, etc.. It's the best WW cleaner I've ever used. Just water and first.
Then the tires with HD wheel and tire cleaner, or other mild tire cleaner.
Never use 'Bleach White' as it will eat away at the chrome, especially the spokes and in the cracks, and rust will start to happen soon after.
The "Majic Eraisers" are fantastic for the Wide Whites, and then your sneakers after they get dirty also.
