I wanted the clean look but be able to convert back to two up quickly. I drilled and filed out the ends of the front and bottom holes on the dtachable hardware and left the top back one since I have to use the long docking hardware bolt there anyhow. I got a 1 1/4" bolts (chrome naturally) for the top front and then can just back them out part way along with the bottom bolts and slide the hardware in and tighten down. I used the longer bolts so that things stay aligned. Thought this might help since I think the docking hardware distracts fr the clean rear fender look.
