Lets say you roll up to a red light and there is another bike in front of you. You dont know them, but the are off to one side of the lane. Do you pull up beside them or do you just stay off to the side, but still behind them?????
I generally stay behind them, but thats me. Just kinda wondering what you guys do.
I never invade another's space. You never know, his wife could have filed for divorce, cleaned out the bank account, you look like the guy she is screwing with and he is packing! Or he could be the nicest person in the world?
Well, I agree with timvan, but I'm also 6'3" and close to 300, so I'm usually ok. I will pull up close enought to them that they will turn and look at which time I will say hey, or nice bike, or whatever.
That exact scenario just happened last night. The rider and w/passenger clearly pulled to the far right side of the lane making room for me on the left.
It was dark out and we were waiting on a train. I took it as a jesture to come on up (safety in #'s) and said howdy.
