You best bet is to remove the wheel from your bike, take it to the dealer/indi of your choice (hopefully the one with the best tire machine, and with the new style dynamic balancer). Either buy the tire from that place or get it from J & S or Dennis Kirk.
I hate letting another mechanic touch my bike.....even more so when it comes to wheels, but I dont have a tire balancer or wheel machine for mounting them on the rim, so I have to take the wheel to the local indi.... for mounting and balancing.
I dont see them charging you any more than $30-$40 for the job. With all them money your saving by removing and reinstalling the wheel yourself could par for the tires!
Get a lift and take the wheel off and take it in. You'll save a lot of money this way. This is what I do. Dealer prices for tires with installation and all are rediculous. Take it to an indy to buy the tire and have it mounted and balanced as well. Definetely less expensive.
