Default Garmin question

Ok, you guys with Garmin GPS's

How do you do a search (on the GPS) when neither of the two streets have a NAME? Garmin seems hell bent on at least one street being NAMED.

ex: 1234, gohere st.

How would you search for:

1234 West, 5678 South?

Utah has a LOT of streets without names. Only north/south - east/west numbers.

Help.

In the example you gave, 5678 South is the street name (although usually the street names are 5600 or 5700, always ending in 50 or 00 in my experience). The first numbers are the address and direction (north, south, east or west) on the given street. Just search for the street number and include the desigantion, Street or Avenue.

Garmin uses the same map database as google. Don't know if it will work but try to find a location with google map and see how the street is identified there

house # "1234"
"done"
street name, pick "123" button at bottom
enter rd # Ex "375" (use number only, no prefixes or suffixes)

How about locating it on google map and then using the latitude and longitude and enter that into your gps and save as a favorite.
