I love the look of the 09Roady S/E..The bag extensions are bolt on, so I was thinking on getting a set for my 08 SG, should be just about the right length to match the trilite. Any forseen probs here? Are the main bags the same? I have a friend who has a body shop and does great paint work and he offered to pay half of the parts, so that he could take a fiberglass mold of the parts to make sets for other guys later-not a bad deal as far as I can see. If there aren't any fitment issues, might become a winter add on. If anyone has already done this, please let me know.

Islandglide This may sound stupid just got an 08 FLHTP never had anything but leather bags before this one, But what are bag Extentions??? thanks
Hawgnut..bag extensions attach (either bolt on or fiberglass flush) to the bottoms of hard bags to give a lower look.
Shermant..I don't care too much for the super low extensions that most offer, and thought I'd like the bolt on kind...not so permanent. I also like how the SE factory ext are not as low at the front.
Keep us up to date if you try it. I am willing to bet that like the trilight bar on the SG's when they came out, you won't be able to buy them from HD unless you are replacing them on a bike you purchased. Good luck with it.
