exhaust ????

ive got rush slip-on's on my 07 road king and ive heard that there packing in there has anyone pulled it out ?and how did it sound after you did

also ive pulled as hard as i could and the baffle wouldnt move whats the best way of getting that thing outta there

I'm assuming there's a couple screws that hold the baffle in and you have removed them. You may have to pull the mufflers and tap on them from the other side.

Rush rep told me there was only one screw per pipe and the baffles "slide right out". Frankly, after the acids, in the exhaust, have had a couple days to eat away at the inside of the pipe, I think it's gonna take some real work to get it out.
I think I'd try a brass or wooden drift from the inlet side. A one inch, or maybe a bit bigger, dow rod should do the trick.

use a slide hammer with a hook on the other end worked on mine yesterday

Get the pipes warm(not hot) spray some wd-40 in there then use something with a hook on it that you can hit,but ive never seen any pipe with packing in it dont know about rush never owned any..
