oriellys can order it $10.99 Q
car quest nope
auto zone nope

local bike stealer (they ask why would i use that)
I use the regular royal p 20-50 in my bikes, we stock it at work, so thats easy. Although yorr local isnt selling you royal purple for 5.99 a quart. That must be somethign else if its that cheap
I run the 20-50 car oil in my e-glide- i called royal purple one time and the guy said there is not enough difference in the car and bike specific oil to worry about. I buy it at my local napa store 7.75 quart or thr advance auto store for 7.37 quart.

What do you think he is going to tell you when it costs more??........"no buy the cheaper stuff"???
I run the 20w50 "car" and have in all my bikes without a issue..........$7.19/quart......
I told the guy a lie, and said i lived in alaska, and the local dealer would only carry the car stuff,, thats when he told me that it wont hurt,,, i live in florida and have been running the r/p 20-50 standard oil for the last 12000 miles and am impressed with the way the oil look and the consistency of it when i do oil changes about every 4500 mile.
I've bought Royal Purple off ebay a hand full of times and no problems.
You will find some racing stores there regularly sell RP and may offer different quantities at a good price too. It beats driving all over town searching for it.
i get royal purkle for 7.29 a quart at o' rileys. cheaper to use mobil one 20/50 than the rp, but that's buying it at walmart in the five quart jug for twenty three bux. i'm stickin with the rp cause it works and it doesn't **** me off. i also use rp 85/140 in the trans, but for the engine and primary i'm happy with the 20/50. much less clunk in the trans, and just feel better with treating my motor right. they say that citgo has the contract for harleys' oils. and citgo is sludge. at twelve bux a quart for the syn 3??? screw that.
