I live in Germany right now. It gets cold and rains a lot. I will be moving back to the states in 2 years and retiring from the Air force but have no idea where I will end up in the states yet.

There's a lot of Bells & Whistles on the Ultra... When you think that the TourPak alone is going to set you back $1500.00+

I bought an '07 Street Glide, and I've added cruise, lowers, and the front driving lights. I'm basically just missing the Tour Pak and CB to have turned my Glide into an Ultra. Now I'm looking at an '09, and I'm going Ultra this time. I ride my bike to an from work almost every day during the riding season, and I can see the Tour Pak coming in handy carrying a laptop around.

I still have my FatBoy and an 08 SG. I put on a Sundowner seat, detachable tour pack, datatable back-rest (when the tour pack is off). The SG works real well for me and the wife. Comfortable on trips, then strip it down for the smooth look.

There is a big difference between the FB and the SG. I have never been on an ultra, classic or a standard, but I sure like my SG.
