The Harley soft lowers have a cut out midway on the outside edge. That is for the highway pegs, I am guessing. I have the 360 pegs on mine, so I mounted the peg to the soft lower and adjusted them accordingly. I'll snap mine on in a bit and take a photo and post it. I'm not sure about clearance for the fog lamps.
I tried the Harley soft lowers (The ones with the bar and shield logo) but they would not fit over my H-D (Skull) highway pegs and mounts. I will try to get a set of of eBay.
I also got a set of Harley cheapies. Use them in the morning and take them off in the afternoon. Like the other guys say, you're not supposed to use them when the temp. goes above 50. They go off and on quickly.
I've got the hd canvas hd logo set and i love em'...fits over my hiway pegs fine and goes on and off fairly easilly. Still too warm here n the cali valley to install em and leave for the winter, but definetly cold enuf at night and early mornings.

i think the slit they have in the side of them is pretty much streight out could depend on what possition you have your pegs or you can open the slit a little until they fit and then put a couple stitches in to keep from tearing them out. just a thought
I use the bar and shield soft lowers too and really like them. 20 mile ride into work this morning dressed business casual with dress shoes in 53 degree weather, mostly highway, stayed comfortably warm.
I had the cheaper HD ones...I don't recommend them...the snaps pulled out the second time I used them...I then returned them for the bar & shield ones. They're well made and work great.
