Honest Bob - you are experiencing what 99% of us do - no wobble at all. I have never felt it on my 07 EGC... EVER. Solid as a rock. I think the guys who fantasize about the wobble have poor tire pressure or something.... the only place i have ever heard about it is on this board.

+1 Wobble Discussions are getting old, time to find a new topic, like where we are going on our next ride!

Excuse me? If your bike is too sick or you don't know how to ride well enough to go 90 on an entrance ramp maybe you should not ride a bike. Around here if you don't enter I-75 at 85 or 90 mph you will get run over!

But I wouldn't say solid as a rock either, I can feel some flex when I'm really aggresive (and I mean REALLY aggresive). But otherwise, and Cycle World agrees with me on their last test of an '08, it IS a great handling bike compared to bikes of the same ilk, period.

50K+ on my '04 EG, many of them running 80+ mph on interstates in the Southeast and have not experienced wobble; ditto my good friend who rides interstates even more frequently and faster on his '06 EG Classic.

I've basically stopped reading the "wobble" threads 'cause I'm not going to deny somebody's impressions/experiences on their bikes. If they experience it and can fix it--great. And since I'm not an engineer, I wouldn't hazard a guess as to why they may experience "wobble" and many other owners of the same or similar bikes don't.

"High Speed Wobble" is a term that's been around longer than the 40+ years I've been riding. They didn't have kits to stabilize the swingarms of the old Harleys to cure it because they didn't have swingarms! The "cure" was to "buy" extended forks to improve handling. We all know where that went. This is 99% about marketing. You invent or over exagerate a problem and everyone has that problem too. Then, of course a couple of guys manufacture a new and improved gee gaw to cure that problem and next a hundred guys will swear it saved their lives! It's the American Yuppie way, keep up with the Joneses.

Keep up the air pressure in the tires and rear shocks.

Don't forget to check the steering head freeplay every 10K (did I say that right?).

No wobble. Ever. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but I've never experienced it. If I did, it didn't bother me enough to take note of it.

mine wobbles a bit when going over 130 mph or taking a 40mph curve at 80. Other than that, it's rock solid.

Before I ever read about wobble, after I bought my Heritage, I immediately noticed the Heritage was steadier at freeway speeds than my RK. My brother in law noticed too. There is a difference when I ride my RK at freeway speeds. It's very subtle. I'm not worried I'm going to fall off the bike from it. I'd also say that if I didn't also own a Heritage, I wouldn't ever have known the difference. I just ordered the Bagger Brace upon the recommendations of those here that have purchased it. Unfortunately, by the time I receive it and install it, it will probably be too late to test it. Today I talked to the salesman who sold me both my bikes, he's got over 100,000 miles on various bikes. I asked his opinion. He says it's very real and gets worst as the bike gets older. His SG has 50,000 miles on it. He's heard nothing but good remarks about the Bagger Brace. He said you can also replace the swing arm bushings with better ones, that also alieviates the problem.
