Need help electrical issue
Rode up to Biketoberfest this past week end and had a great time, nice weather and the scoot behaved like a champ.
Only issue, about half way to DAB the oil pressure gauge stopped working and the Amp gauge lost illumination.
I do have a full crankcase and there is no lubrication problem.
Got back home, checked the fuses and had one blown, replaced and the issues continue (the fuse has not blown).
Anything in particular I should look for when I remove the fairing?
This problem happened just out of the blue, no changes to the bike.
Hopefully a wiring issue which is really NOT one of my strengths ...8]
Thanks!

A couple things you might check.
With the outer fairing off turn the handlebars lock to lock while looking for any wires that are being pulled tight. Make sure all the wire connections are snapped together (there are several).
Your two problems may or may not be related. Check the light bulb in the amp gauge and make sure it has not blown.
If the bulb is blown this could also be what is causing your oil pressure gauge not to work if they are wired in series. I don't have a schematic to look at so this is just a guess.
If this doesn't help and as you said you are not good with wiring I would say it is time to go to the dealer or a local independent shop.
