Tragic Accident Video
I watched this video over in the Gen. Section, and thought some of you might appreciate it. Be warned, this is a seriously intense video of a motorcyclist that is hit by a semi. This covers the accident, and his remarkable recovery.

thats just unreal.. i see so many morons on my daily commute that could do this and never even realize they had done it...makes me hope that if it ever comes to that, i would really rather not survive..ride safe and look out for mindless morons

DAMN ............. I really hope like hell the cager was caught.This is why we carry ball bearings and a ballpien hammer and a few of us pistols in my group. Cut us off get a ball bearing or hammer in your window if you do it with intent and disregaurd for us. I had a couple young punks try to run me into parked cars once. Id slow down so did they I would speed up so would they after a few times of this **** try to handle it in the right way. I finnally just pulled my pistol and told him to back the f*ck off or I was gonna shoot him since he thought it was funny try to put me in the parked cars. I then went to local leos to keep myself from trouble and told them what had happened and they charged the teen punk with reckless indagerment and took his licence for a year. I didn't recive any thing since my life was in danger. these god damn cagers need to learn we are people with famillies not just machines all they see iis the bike not the man or woman on it. I say kill or mame a bike go to jail.

Having been rear ended at speed (while in a car) by a young person looking around for an apartment, I can only imagine how dead I would be if I had been on a bike. That was 22 years ago. I would have missed getting married, seeing my niece and nephews, many life experiences and salvation. People need to pay attention. I pray daily while in my work truck that I don't let my mind wander and hit someone on a bike, and I am conscious of it. Imagine those that don't give us a second thought.

Damn that was tough to watch. My kids are in school right now, but when they get home, I will make them watch it. I want them to know how their actions affect others. I hope the rider lives long enough to see his grandkids marry. I also hope the driver spends the rest of his life with a big hairy friend behind bars.
