Default Street Glide tank badge.
Anyone having trouble with their FLHX tank badge coming unglued? If so what have you done to repair it?

Front of right emblem was lifting. Put a dab of krazy glue on with a toothpick, solid now. Dealer ordered me a replacement but I did'nt need to use it.

Mine too was pulling away so I took that as a sign that they need some human intervention. Therefore, I retrieved my trusty fishing line and the tank emblem removal commenced.

Rip them off and be different - it's all good. [8D]

i painted the HD candy red...it didnt work like expected...fubared....i pulled it off....got another style emblem on the way

Isn't that the way it goes! If you wanted it off to clean it up and give a different look it would be the best adhesion ever.

do what streetglide2006 did change them things! the same guy that designed the wheels must have did the tank badge!

yea me too...i stole his idear on the tank badges...didnt mean too...i tried but screwed up my big idear...so ah snitched his...now, thats a mighty purty points cover there bud...got a closeup BUT my derby cover kicks ***...had a big ole texas cut into it...then had that painted red/white/blue with chrome paint...it rocks, especially in the sun...pics tomorrow
