Default Snap on lowers

My wife and I are going up around Helen Ga. for a few day next week. I just checked on the weather an see there is a cold front coming at the same time as us. I was thinking of picking up a set of the snap on lowers for my crash bar anyone have them are they any good?

My brother has a set and loves them. I'll be in Helen Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. We hang out at Margaritas but we're Dawg fans so you might not like us hehe.

It's All good in the SEC. I pull for UGA when they play out of the SEC.

I'd say very worth while investment. Can't use them if you happen to have the HD Fog lights on your crash bars. DANG! I'm thinking of losing the lights during the cold months in favor of the lowers... Let us know what you decide to do, and how well they work.

I used those things on my 86 FLHTC, and they worked really well. I put a engine guard on my sportster and had a seat cover shop make a set for it. They surely do help bust the cold wind! I would say money WELL spent.

I just bought a set from the local H-D dealer, they are the bar and shield design with straps and buckles. I've only had them on a couple of mornings, 37 and 39 degrees, work great keeping the wind off your feet and lower legs. Very easy on and off, toss 'em in the bags when it warms up.

I've been using them for the last couple of winters & really like 'em. Just remember to take 'em off if the weather gets over 70 degrees.
