Smile Floorboard Extensions

Do 3/4 inch floorboard extensions really make a difference? I'm 6'5'' and I like to move my feet around on a long journey-I've sawn the heel shifter peg in half to allow my foot to move back slightly. I don't really want to fit highway pegs to the engine guards as I'm trying to keep this bike as simple and uncluttered as possible. Another question-what are the filler caps for on some Police bike saddlebags? I've seen them in photo's but never seen one in this country.

Caps are actually the latches, or How you open the up.
Yes 3/4" extension make a big difference.
With pegs lower on your gaurds you can rest the front of your foot on em and the heel on the floor-boards.

6'4" size 13 here and they made a big difference. Would like to go with the 1" ones but already drag floorboards often.

Yep! I didn't think 3/4" was much but I did notice the diff.. I think much more and the boards might drag too easily.

They do help, but they drag on turns very easily. I did see someone makes a kit to move them forward also, I forget who it is though.

Try this site. They move it out and forward in one bracket.

I know member "soos" here is a sponsor.
And I also know he does 3/4 & 1" extensions.

But at 6'4"...is 1" really enough?

Pingel makes a 1 1/4" set...which seems like it would be better suited to riders that tall.

Just my opinion...but no hard facts.
I do good to get my leg over the seat! HA!
