Someone was just talking here abought a battery from Wal-Mart for half the price. Might want to check there

I don't need one but as I walked past the battery rack in a Walmart this afternoon I saw one for Touring Models for $69.00 I believe. I know nothing about these batteries but at about 1/2 what you pay for one at your friendly HD shop, they possible could work.

I may be wrong, but I think the ones at WalMart are half the price because they aren't the sealed type. They are the one's you have to put water in and charge before you use them. I was going to go that route until I was told by the dealer that even if I didn't get an HD branded battery, at least get a sealed gel type battery instead of the less expensive wet cell types. Something about vibration and acid and stuff...

Bigfokker is right. Make sure its a sealed gel type.
