Thumbs up Changed bars on my Street Glide Rad lll mirrors mounted on the fairing!

Check these out guys.. After much research on the forum and elsewhere.. I came up with this idea on my own.. The mirrors are Arlen Ness Rad lll's.. The handlebars are Kromewerks Street Sweepers..The mirror stems I had cut down to 1.5"inches, drilled and re-tapped.. Mounted them on the batwing fairing above and inside the stock fairing mirrors.. A few nylon washers to buffer and space for the correct look.(painted black). A large fender washer is inside the fairing to spread the load..

LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE ALMOST STOCK..!!!

I got them from Ronnie at Lewis Custom Cycles for $60.00 each..(better than the Arlen Ness Price.!)

Seeing if I can get the pic's in here.. Don't have much time now as I am moving houses.. But will check back soon.. I have more and will answer questions..

I am totally pleased with myself on another cool mod that works great and looks good..!!!

Should solve the mirror issue for most of you.. (I hope)

INSTALL NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU GET THE STEMS AS TIGHT AS YOU CAN WITHOUT DAMAGING ANYTHING AS THEY ARE NON ADJUSTABLE WITH THE FAIRING BACK ON..

The mirrors move around to adjust as necessary, and work great..!!!

Looks good! Hopefully the holes in the fairing won't crack from the wind/vibration?

No, I don't think they will as I used nylon washers and went with a fender washer under that to spread the load.. Feels pretty secure and not much really sticking up to catch the wind.. The plastic of the inner fairing is pretty tough and flexible.. so I don't think it will be an issue..

More pic's..!!!

Made especially for motorcycles.. Works great.. and I have a special unobstructed view for the business end and almost invisible.. Modified it to fit under my ft. fork baffle.. Nothing in the way at all.. All others mount under the fairing and have to see thru the fiberglass..

I also have a blue LED installed in my dash that flashes faster as the radar car gets closer..

Saved my bacon several times, as it sees down the road a long ways..!!

I thought I had some pic's but can't find them.. Will take one when my camera comes back next Monday..!!
