Use some masking tape and a 9 volt battery. Put a light pod in a spot with the tape. The use the 9vt to see how the light pattern shines. This allows you to move the pod easily before permanent mounting tape is used.

Anyone have suggestions where to mount lights to light up front wheel and where to run wires so they don't stick out big time? Thanks again

Tire side of brake caliper. Also try: http://www.boogey.com/home.htm
Lots of info on lighting up a bike there, also good product and people. Meet the owners in 04 at Bikes Blues and BBQ.

Like I said, play around with them to see where they light up where YOU want them to. After that, then you find a way to route the wires. Be sure to leave some slack if you mount any lights to a suspension piece like the forks or swingarm areas. Mounting to the calipers you will need to add slack for travel both up and down travel.
