Default Arnott Air Ride

OK to all the people I have reached out to about the air ride system .here is the Facts I have a 09 I will say it again , a09,electra glide classic FHLTC .
The compresser does not fit with out mods to it My mech. did the install today we called Arnott and the answer was , " well just cut off the bolts ,Drll new holes & Tap It should fit " Now when I called and spoke to Arnott They said no problem it will fit your 09 HD .Even the instruction cover sheet says Fits 2009 ,AH but alas the pictures are for later bikes SO once again they will tell you what ever to make the sale I'm glad I didn't do it ,I would have thrown it out the window .So that is the heads up for Arnott air ride system I bet they NEVER did a install on a 09 .

Sorry to hear that however, I have never had any bad experiences with them. I even had some fitment issues due to some custom work I did on my ride and they were quick to get the parts I needed and asked no questions about the return of the old parts. I toured the factory and they fit every bike out there in the shop with the systems. You take a walk in there, you will see about 20 bikes alone and many of the local shops send their bikes there for the systems. I'd call them again and see what they can do for you.

Recently, I bought the Arnott Alden air ride system and I had to modify the bracket (straighten and re-bend) to make it fit in the area in front of the battery on my 09' CVO Road Glide. After I finished the installation, I tested it and the compressor was defective. I called Arnott and reported the defective compressor and also let them know that the bracket needed to be modified to fit my bike. Arnott sent me a replacement compressor in good faith (without charging my credit card) that I would return the defective one, which I did. The replacement had the correct bracket for the 09's and it slipped right into the spot without any modifications. I am sure that if you explained to them that you got the wrong bracket, they would ship you the correct bracket for the 09' model. Their tech guy seemed reasonable and easy to work with for me anyhow.
