Texas,
Yes the stitching is blue. it matches the color of the bike almost exactly! The seat is really comfortable and is a HUGE improvement over stock. I have spent 4 hours in the saddle with no problems where with the stock seat i had to get off every hour and was in pain. The lower back support and the farther back (2") makes it really nice.
I am working on getting rid of the strap. The wifey uses it to hold on and she doesnt want me to take it off. She doesnt have a lot of passenger time yet but is trying to get used to not using the strap.
Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over "mod's", that our lives had become unmanageable.
Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
I hear this, Ive had mine 2 weeks tomorrow and already spent like $1000 at a 15% discount. Keep in mind all I did to my Deluxe was slipons/seat/windshield in a year and a half and my Sportster only got a windshield and slipons in the time I owned it. Something about these baggers is addictive!
Do like I do,I make it a game, see how much stuff I can put on it without my wife finding out.My wife loves to ride with me but she aint very observant.
I have to stop spending money on this thing!

I have also changed the seat to a C&C sport tour seat customized 2" back. Not really the "right" seat for the bike but it is much more comfortable than stock. Added a back rest but havent had C&C match the cover on it yet.
Added highway pegs.
I also bought the heel shifter eliminator spacer and the push button gas tank opener but havent installed them yet.
Thanks to all on this forum for your help!
Seat looks nice but you gotta get rid of that strap going across it. Not useful and takes away from the nice look of your seat.
