Default New Shield

Installed my 7" half moon shield with wings this week on my SG and finally got out for a 100+ mile ride today.

Like day and night compared to the stock 4 1/2" shield. No more bobbing head doll action.

I was going to go with an amp and new speakers but with the new shield, I could hear the music clear at 80mph with the stock speakers. Guess I'll just change out the speakers, some sound deadening mats and I'll be good to go.

If anybody is on the fence about those shields, they are what they say they are. They work!!

The more I ride this bike, the more I love it.

Do they come curved or do they come flat and you have to bend them when you install? A lot of guys say some brands come flat and tend to crack.

Yea, +1, I had them cut me a 7 1/2", and it's perfect for me. Next time I'll get the mar resistant material however.....
