After I receive mine and get it mounted up, I'll shoot a quick video and post it for all to see. I'll bet it's easy to do because you aren't lifting the bike off the ground. The rear tire remains in contact with the ground, thus carrying some of the weight and the front end remains totally on the ground. In fact, I'l teach my daughter to put it on the stand and video here too. I'm confident it isn't that hard at all....
I agree with you about the forum too. It's been a good experience and quite helpful. It's also addicting if I say so myself. (Especially in Winter)..
Thanks for the response.Love to see the video b-4 i think about ordering.Nice ride u have there, Ill be posting some pix soon(as soon as i learn this damn puter out)
P.S,,,Yup this forum is very addictive,,Especially in the winter,(Maine)
I found this forum very helpful. I bought a " EZ Lift Stand" for my bike 08 FLHTCU. I bought it a couple months ago at small bike rally-show, here in Missouri. Bought it from a small time vendor from Texas (WWW.customsbyhero.com). From what I am reading, I don't think mine is a wheeldock easy up centerstand.
I like mine but couple things I have noticed on mine. It is a lot easier to put up on center stand when standing beside bike. I only been able to put it on centerstand while sitting on bike couple times. The big problem on mine is the bar used to push stand down. On my bike it hits the harley passenger floor boards. The bar doesn't extend past the floorboard and this makes it hard to engage the bar with the foot. Also today I was looking at the stand. I noticed that the stand (because the bar hits the floorboard) doesn't go all the way up.
I haven't any trouble with stand dragging . I have over 15,000 miles on the bike.
I for sure would buy one again, but think I should have bought somewhere else

The EZ-Lift stand is a Chinese made stand which is marketed through a Canadian company that goes by the name of Studebaker mfg. and sold by Ray Hero of Hero customs. The foot lever is locktited into a bushing and the instructions warn against using the foot lever for 24 hours. The stand is all chrome and sells for $250. I had a conversation with them concerning the use of the EZ-Lift name as mine the EZ-Up was used first and I also have applied for a trademark on mine. This is what I can tell you about one of the knock off stands out there and there are one or two more. I suspect you could use a bit of heat on the foot lever and reinstall it in a slightly turned manner so it would clear the footboard and might go up easier. I am not claiming to be and expert here but I have studied the competitors and I recognize the potential for this foot lever geometry issue which you have described. Hope this information helps
Hey Rod, it looks like I missed your discount deal by one day. My unit is in transit and due to be delivered on Monday. Any chance you're feeling generous?
We met Rod at the OK HOG Rally in Tulsa. He was straight forward and has a nice looking product. With the 20% discount. I believe I can talk my Mrs Santa into another Christmas present.
