Wheeldock Easy up center stand
1. Install rag to seperate legs from mounting plate.
2. Slide stand over cross brace.
3. Bang stand foward until it sits flush with rails.
4. Slide nut plate over rail and align over hole in plate.
5. Blue Loctite the bolt, tighten to spec.
People are right! It took about 10 minutes from start to finish.
Very nice product Rod! Glad to see someone still making products in the USA which are built very well. This is definately one of the best things I have done to my bike.
I haven't tried to slide my red jack under yet, but I'll figure something out. This thing isn't coming off!

I am not sure which site you are referring to but here are my instructions from my site: http://www.wheeldock.com/pdf/09_EZ_UP_Centerstand_Owners_Manual.pdf
No mention of rag or blue loctite either but if it works I am happy. The loctite is fine BTW.
I have written and re-written my instructions for the 09 model and if you have ever done this you will know it isnt as easy as it looks. I tend to use a bit too much detail but I am the guy who spends the first couple of days reading every page of the owners manual on a new bike and I pretty much already know what I need to know about them. My wife teases me about it but thats just me. The install is really very straight forward and most folks have no problem even without the instructions. I encourage any of my customers who have an issue to just give me a call or an email and I will be glad to help anytime.

I was talking about your site instructions (PDF).
Your instructions were fine, just a little too detailed for a blue collar guy like me. Without looking underneath first, it's kind of hard to understand, especially with all the terms. Once I looked under there, everything became clear. Now worries!
Now I gotcha brother. Seems like there have been a lot of instructions posted here on this thread and they are all good. Where do you think I get all my ideas from???

This is why we only make our center stand for the standard susspensions and the bikes lowered 1" with the shorter shocks from Harley also known as the profile shocks. As we discussed when the order was placed the lowering kits drop the back much more and will keep you from driving off. It will take more effort to put the bike up on the stand also as the rear tire will be up in the air. As your frame is much lower it will allow much less clearance as well.
I also sent you a PM after giving this issue some more though and I think I know how to fix your stand and might be of help to others with super low 09 bikes. I will keep everyone on the forum posted as several have used the kits to drop their bike more than the profile shocks allow.

.Then, I couldn't get things to line up while holding the stand with one arm, and trying to start the left side bolt, re-read the instructions, still didn't seem to want to fit, then turned the wheeldock stand 180 degrees with the chrome kick rod sticking out on the same side as the HD jiffy stand, and voila, everything fit perfectly.
So, the half hour job took me a good 30 min. But the dock fits perfect, and the finish is a high quality black power coat perfectly matching the black Harley frame.. The welds look perfect without any welding splatter and good penetration, and it really does look like a high quality add on which goes with my $23,000 Harley Ultra quite nicely.
Thanks Rod for a quality add on. It would be nice if you threw in the special wood block you picture to hold pressure on the flat nuts
, and maybe a better drawing on the instruction sheet showing the chrome kick lever on the same side as the Harley Jiffey stand..or maybe It is my problem.Mark
