I just called and ordered mine today, they are having the Christmas Sale for 20% off for $231.20 with Free Shipping! Cannot wait to get it and install it.
Just called and ordered mine! Can't wait to get it (and the bike for that matter - having a few "add ons" put on before I pick it up). I met these guys at a rally a couple of years back. Great guys with quality products.
Just to let you guys know what is going on, for those of you who have ordered a center stand. We are shipping about 25 center stands out today 12-1-08 and the rest tomorrow. You should all get tracking information in an email from UPS. This is what is supposed to happen and usually does. If you dont receive tracking info by Wed. or have any other questions just give Susan, my office manager a call at 1-866-606-3080. I will be out of the office most, if not all week on a hunt in Kansas without email or cell phone reception. I hope I can tolerate the communication withdrawal, Ill try. I will be back in the office on Monday the 8th. The offer runs through Dec. 15th so you still have time to get in on the group buy and get your stand in time for Christmas.
Got the tracking number yesterday, mine is due in on Thursday. Can't wait to install!
Just installed mine. Helped to use a bicycle helmet to hold up the stand while threading the bolts. Took 10 minutes.
Looks like very good quality, heavily built, and nice finish.
Straddled it and popped it up the first time very easily. Takes less effort than my old '82 Gold Wing did. It is rock solid and very stable.
This product is a winner. And Rod and Susan are great to deal with. I had emailed my charge card number and missed a digit. Susan figured it out promptly. Had my UPS tracking number within 10 minutes of emailing my info.
Cropsure,
Having add ons put on before you pick the bike up is a good idea, that way they're covered under warranty.
You know bmorebhoy, I hadn't even thought about that but that is a great point. I was just trying to get it all done at once instead of going back and forth to the dealership once a week. Plus, they are giving a discount so I figure I'm saving a little bit of money doing it like this anyway...
Just a quick post to let you all know I am back in the office. I had a good hunt in Kansas and was successful. For the non-hunters I will spare the details. I know I took off at a bad time for those of you who needed help or advice with installations. Sorry about that but I needed a vacation. If anybody has an issue with installation, operation, or just wants to visit you can reach me at 1-866-606-3080. Thanks to all who responded with help and support to the customer who had the installation problems. There should never be a reason to modify your bike in any way. However as I cannot know what all the variables are that you might run into, I can only offer to do my best to talk you through to the best of my ability. It sounds like a lot of you have already received and installed the center stands and the rest of you should be receiving yours. Susan tells me that all the orders have been shipped. As an update to the group buy: we are somewhere around 40 units and still shipping daily. Thank you guys

I'm copying my post from the other Wheeldock thread.
Okay, I got home from work and the UPS guy had already dropped off the package from Wheeldock. First impressions as I unpacked the stand is that they really take pride in their product, it's evident from the thought and care that's gone into their packaging. Really high quality.
The stand itself took me about 6 minutes to install (I'm obviously not the wrench that Deepsouth251 is!), as I was having trouble getting it seated forward enough to line up the hole in the frame pan with the hole for the mounting bolt . Had to go find a rubber mallet to help push the stand forward enough. Took a couple of whacks and it slid right into place. Tightened the bolt up and it was done.
I stood the bike up while standing off to the left side, stepped down gently on the arm and she went up real nice and easy. After I took the pix I put her up from the saddle. That wasn't quite as easy, but I suspect over time it'll get to be second nature. I don't think the lever is very noticeable, you can hardly see it in the pix.
Very impressive product, I'm real happy with this one. Thanks Ron for making the deal for us.
