Go to a ski shop, and buy ski gloves. They are even pre-formed to grip a ski pole, which is just slightly smaller than our grips. Also waterproof.

If you are serious about doing winter riding, just go ahead and get the heated gloves. no comparison.

Heated gloves are the only way to go if you ride every day. Get the heated jacket liner so you don't have to run the wires down your coat sleeves every time. Oh yeah, the jacket liner is heated too Then the thermostat so you can adjust the temp to just right. Yes , they are expensive, but the best money you'll ever spend on your ride. I'd give up my Rineharts and go back to stock pipes before I'd give up my heated gear.

If no on the heat, the silk liners do work pretty good. But they are not heated.

Being cold sucks!!

Has anyone tried the newest battery-powered heated gear? Gyde (formerly Gerbing) has some interesting offerings.

I have Olympia waterproof heavy gloves. Those are good down to 40 degrees behind a batwing. I have Gerbings G3s for below that. I will say that they are early G3s, made in USA. The thumb area does not get very warm. In fact, the whole experience is very subtle. I know they work, but I won't say they get anywhere near toasty. My recommendation is to try some out. A couple years back Harley had some that I tried. They were very well made and very warm. I was tempted, but at $200ish bucks I decided to make due with my G3s.

On heated grips - When I had those they really put the G3s over the top. It was nice to have that extra bit of warmth on the palms. Unfortunately, in my experience, Harley heated grips are unreliable.

I have a pair of heated gauntlets from Gordon's Heated Clothing, they are REALLY nice, very hot when I need'm to be. Wish they were touch-screen compatible.
