Which handlebars
I am also a short guy (5'5") and have an RK Custom. I love the way these handlebars come back to me so I dont have to stretch forward. Also a lot of guys like the Reach bars that HD makes.
Reduced Reach Road KingÂŽ Handlebar
These high quality chrome-plated handlebars are shaped to bring the controls 2-3/4" closer to the rider, as compared to the Original Equipment FLHR and FLHRC handlebars. The neutral hand position is comfortable for the long haul, and the narrow width and pull-back design produce a major ergonomic change when compared to the wide bars found on the Road King Custom model.

For us short riders - I believe its a combo of right bars and right seat = makes the difference = also keep in mind - stock brake line is rigid and follows stock bars - you may have to rebend this - for me - I tossed it and got a brake line that looked nice... just more $$$ - but what is a HD project that doesn't deal in $$$$,,, lol
