Default Which seat for Road King?

Which aftermarket seat moves you back the greatest distance?I am looking for a two-up seat for my 1999 RK that will move me back, but still let me use my detachable passenger backrest and my detachable chopped tour pak.I bought a Mustang seat off e-bay that was comfortable ,but the passenger pad was so big I could not use my backrest. The HD parts manual says that "tall boy" seat for a 1999 only moves it back 1/2".I'm 6'2",250 lbs, with a 34" inseam.I already installed Covington floorboard extenders, but still feel pushed forward on the bike.By the way,I now have a Mustang tour seat for sale for $200 plus shipping. Thanks for your input,This site has helped alot with my purchases.

I have the Sundowner on my 2007 RKC and the Wife & I are both happy with it. I also have 14" apes. I'm 6'1", 200 #, 34" inseam.

Check out the Corbin solo...just bought one and it pushes you back at least 2" vs stock.

I can tell you two things.

The HD Sundowner for two is very comfy and didn't move me forward.

Second: What ever you do, Don't buy a Saddlemen.
Crap quality.

The Mustang you have now..is it a solo or two-up. If it's two-up, I might be interested.

I've had three Corbin seats for my Road King, the Stinger, Solo, and Dual Tourer.... They all seem to move me back...but I think the solo and Tourer do the best job. FWIW....

I had a Mustang solo... it definitely moved me back. I'm 5'6" and had to reach to far for the bars. I sold it and bought a Sundowner 2-up. The sundowner sits me lower than stock, but does not move me back at all.

I purchased a mustang plain solo and did not like the position. Comfy seat and good quality but did not like the way the higher back portion of the seat minimized the ability to change positions. Switched to a mustang tripper solo seat and couldn't be happier. The plain solo really plush seat but moved me down and forward. The Tripper solo moved me down and maybe a tad to the rear but the design of the seat fit me better.
