How does stabilizing the left to right movement of the rear bottom of the engine improve the suspension handeling in turns? I have notice the "wobble" or the bike chasing the lines or imperfections on the rode, but I have also experenced this in my auto also. I to would like to make my bike more stabil but I don't want to through away my money. The engine in my car moves ALOT but it doesn't effect the handeling.

05 Deluxe,

I'll answer your question for you. As per Aaron stated above, his stabilzer does lower your ground clearance by at least an extra 1/4". Add that to the thickenss of the plate and some more for the bolt heads, and........... maybe 1/2"+ less ground clearance. Watch out speed bumps!

In post #6 of the suggested thread, only the 3rd paragraph should be the concern. Apparently (!) that individual didn't think much of the quality or tolerances of his Throttle Up stabilzer.

05 Deluxe, Yachtman could not be further from wrong! If he was to step out into his garage and take a look at his own bike, he would see that even with this "1/2"" he claims, even then it is still higher than the cross-member of the frame. If mine supposedly makes you loose clearance, what does the "Bagger-Brace" do? It's a big 'ole chunk of aluminum that sticks down way further than mine. He is just one of the ones that feels he has to jump in and cause trouble and bust chops. It's very apparent in a lot of threads! Check some out.

Aaron

I just wanted to see if you would answer his question, Aaron. Your answer to his question didn't actually answer it. It only reiterated the man seemingly lack of quality issue.

And now you still had to bust on the 'other' stabilzer to actually answer it!!

And after adding up all your 1/4" of air space, the slab of metal, and bolts, is it really any different than theirs? Really?

You're so much fun!

I'll leave it alone now, promise.

Listen to the actual question, think a bit, and then answer just the person's question....only the question, without elaborating on the competition. (like you seem to want to do, most of the time) No matter how much people get under your skin with their thinking, try to focus your answer on how your product's features and benefits will answer the question, only.

It will be better for business.

Thank you for your great wisdom! Sounds like back-paddling to me. Glad you promised to stay out of it though. We'll see if you go back on your word? Looks to me like you have nothing better to do in life than to dig up posts that are 3 -4 pages down to stir things up!

Aaron: Why are you even bothering to argue with this *** clown. He obviously doesn't like your product and IMHO he is just stirring the pot. And frankly, I am getting sick of his negative posts in all the threads. I do not plan on purchasing your product, or any other for the matter, but I do think you are trying to give potential customers a cheaper alternative.

Yachtboy: You need to find something to do. You have way too much time on your hands and you have nothing in Aaron's products but your nose. BTW. About your signature: do you think anybody really cares that you have black pearl studs on your Mustang seat?? LMAO!!!

Me: I don't have a brace. I tend to ride my SG in the manner for which is was intended, whatever that is. I don't find the need to "push" it to extreme limits to find out if I have the dreaded wobble.

Thanks for your time,

Ben

Aaron,

I'm not stirring up posts 3-4 pages down. His question/post was the same day I posted. I tried to exit this thread and then you have to bust my ***. And I have nothing against your product.

Ben,

I'll remove the 'studs' just for you. I don't want you to be upset.

Try what? If you mean a stabilzer, I'm okay w/o. And if I did, I'm pretty sure I already know which brand I'd buy. Or at least the top two personal options.
