Seat question?

If I put a street glide seat on a electra glide standard do I have to buy the little dash extension piece to cover up the space?

I had the same problem,I did'nt like the stock seat on my 07 FLHT and wanted something that looked cool as well as longer and lower but I did'nt want that extension piece. The MoCo do a seat called a Rallyrunner, part no. 53358-02A,for Standard 'Glides so I got one of those. Looks great.

as stated yes you will need the extension. The ones I have seen in person were all black but I have seen someone making a chrome one now that looks much better imo but i can't remember who. I dont think it was the moco but I could be wrong.
