06 Street Glide here. Light came on today at about 175. Put 4.3 gals. in at 182 miles. Sunoco Ultra for $2.50/gal.!

58 mpg is on the 883 sporties... No way you're ever gettin that on a bagger. Seems like everyone stock gets about 40-43 mpg while those of us with cams and fuelers are more like 35. Can't complain though.. What a ride!

Ha Ha! I have an 06 UC with Stage 1. Like the + power and sound, hate the gas sucking!

At 70 i get about 40 mpg. at 80-85 i get 32-34 mpg....

My low fuel light comes on when I have 2 gallons left in the tank. When the range gets to zero, I have one gallon left in the tank. Not real accurate, but I prefer having a gallon left in the tank when I think it's empty over being empty and walking when I think there is a gallon left.

The light is a joke. I ride fr 4000 to 8000 ft. in the mountains and it will come on with 1/4 tank left. My guage seems a little better. Talk to the srv mgt and he said they could work on it and probable make it worst. Know your bike and just go by the miles.

My 08 SG has the same problem with the gauge showing E and still having quit a bit of fuel left. The light is some what worthless for me i usually just watch my milage.
