those big motors were makin music with angry soundin fatcats and big power, almost triple that of a stocker....2 lane Texas hiways with no traffic and the weather in the 60's, sun was out, sky was crystal blue....PhilM & I were carvin the countryside this last weekend....the sound of these two monster motored baggers was incredible....we passed a few folks to notice the speedo at 110 with more than half the throttle left, it surprised us both it came so quick....dont bother askin which one is faster, we aint tellin....i can tell ya this tho, both will wheelie in 2nd at will...aint nothin like cuttin the mornin air with a fire breathin monster harley

That's one of my projects is to have a bad motor scooter just like that. Not to abuse it just to know it's there.

 

Coming home Saturday evening I ran up on a couple of guys puttin down the interstate, when I passed them the one on a FLSTC decided to hammer down... Needless to say about the time I hit 115 he was not in my rear view mirrors.
After I pulled off on an exit ramp he came up beside me on his 105th FLSTC, said he would like another chance!
I said sure how about $20. on a third gear roll-on. He said no thanks and pulled into a gas station.
