Don't start a thread on here and complain because the mean cop gave you a ticket.
those big motors were makin music with angry soundin fatcats and big power, almost triple that of a stocker....2 lane Texas hiways with no traffic and the weather in the 60's, sun was out, sky was crystal blue....PhilM & I were carvin the countryside this last weekend....the sound of these two monster motored baggers was incredible....we passed a few folks to notice the speedo at 110 with more than half the throttle left, it surprised us both it came so quick....dont bother askin which one is faster, we aint tellin....i can tell ya this tho, both will wheelie in 2nd at will...aint nothin like cuttin the mornin air with a fire breathin monster harley

Thanks for the ride report Bryan--nice to know you are pleased with the GMR 124".
It's always enjoyable to read about guys riding these monster motors; enjoying their power and reliability--these aren't barhoppers (though they can be) and they aren't drag racers (though they can be).

It was an AWESOME weekend!
Thanks to Craig (Harley_Rulz) & his lovely wife for spear-heading the ride, eats, etc...
We met up with a number of current & former forum members. The weather was absoutely perfect, roads were great, & leaves were turning ~ at least as much as they turn in TX.
As for our ride home, that Bryan summarized.... it was great. Sure is nice riding with folks you trust & can anticipate. The only thing he didn't mention was that we both had our wives onboard.
I will say that the Hill Country is MUCH more fun with the BIG motors, because it does not matter what the incline is or isn't.... those *****'s will GET IT!
Wheelies... 1st, 2nd, 3rd.... NO Prob! Heck, mine was pulling the front wheel in 3rd gear when I first took it out for ring seating runs ~ just doing the 30 ~ 60 mph roll-ons.
Pics... there were a bunch of pics and videos taken, just not by me. Hope to see some of them soon.
It was great to see and/or meet: Craig & Mrs Craig, Jimbo, LoLife, Terry & Mrs Terry, Dean, Jim, Jeff & Mrs Jeff, and Bryan & Mrs TTM.
I'm ready to go again ~ NOW!
