Default ECM Calibration

How much have folks paid the dealer for an ECM calibration (which I assume is the "download")? I am going to set something up for my 09 Street Glide and am curious to see what I may have to pay.

Thanks,
Brent.

I was quoted $150. They said the download is "married" to the vehicle vin and Harley bills their account the $150, so they don't make anything on it. ??

Basic charge of $149.00 to $150.00 (depends on dealer) and most dealers charge for the time it takes for the install, approximately 15mins.

Yup! $150.00 each for the two downloads I have gotten over the past couple of years.

Thanks for the answers. The dealer did have the same price as above. They told me that the download was specific to SE mufflers, so it may not be an exact match for my Jackpot slip-ons. I guess I can wait for the PCV, but they do have a special on the SE Super Tuner for November. Thoughts?

Yeah. You have Jackpot slipons and not the rest of the Jackpot package? That's what I'd do. The "married to the vin" stuff bothers me somewhat. I'm no expert on the ins and outs of dealer re-mapping, but once it's done, it's done, right? I mean, what if you decide you don't like it and want to go another route? Sounds like a hassle to me, and I don't like having to depend on the "dealer" for things like that. And if you decide on a different air cleaner or slipons, what then? I'd never buy into anything that locked me into "all SE all the time".

I bought the Jackpot combo from Fuel Moto, and am quite pleased with the result. Slipons, Fuel-Moto SE air cleaner, and PCIII with their Jackpot map pre-installed. No issues, and a lot more enjoyment. '08 UC runs with better power/torque at all rpms.

Thanks for the first-hand feedback! I have been waiting for the PC V to come out, but sometimes my impatience makes me want to do something right away.
