Default 2007 recall ecm flash

I was wondering if anybody else was being delayed from getting the download. In St Louis the dealer said come on in ,so I suffered a great ride on a beautiful day to get it done and maybe buy another chrome add-on. After confering with the new flash paperwork they received, they parked the bike out front. I asked if I was ready to go and if the download worked. That's when the service writer told me I only received an updated "C" download and not the "D" verson which is the 0903 recall download and to come back after Dec 15th.
What download was I invited down for in the first place, and if the "D" download is not available. until I got there the dealer and I thought I was going to satisfy the recall notice.
Are others on this forum really getting the "D" download or the "C" download? My bike is really running great I"M not bitching, the excuss to ride was needed, just wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else and if the delay by the dealer is nation wide and how it may affect my long term riding joy.

Just called the dealer in Fort Walton Beach, was told to bring it in. No need for an appointment...takes about 20 minutes.

When I called my dealer about this he had not heard anything about it. He looked into it and called me about 15 minutes later. I was told he could download it from the HD Digital Tech line. He had me bring it in that day and it too about 15 minutes to install. It helped the low end more than I would have believed.

But did you get the C or the D 0903 recall flash. My bike also improved with the C download. But what about the 0903 recall. Have fullfilled those requirements. Have you? what download are the dealers actually doing, C or D the 0903 flash. I guess that is what I was asking is if you knew for sure your recall has been satisfied.

I mean if my experience on my Road King gets any better I,m afraid I might pee on myself. this bike is great. I was wondering about the download versions. I don't care about the warrenty, if I break it I'll just build it bigger and better.

Somewhere on the original "possible recall thread " is the recall notice you can download, it gives the different downloads, c and d not sure if there are more but my tech explained when he plugs into the access port it tells him what download if any is required for my bike. My understanding is all 07 bikes built before 11-1-07 will need the 903 recall, and they can only tell which version you will need by pluging into it, he said mine was "his words" the old flash and did the download and it was a good improvement, could be they changed ecm programs more than once in the time before 11-1 and some may require a different one. Yes my recall 903 recall has been done and documented and my bike is better than before really doesn't matter if it was C or D or whatever.

thanks, I'm still going back in Dec because I far as I know 903 was not satisfied yesterday by the dealer. Still, the bike runs better than before.
