I am thinking of converting the EGC to a RG. I am wondering if any of you have done this and how do you like it? I was talking of trading the Bike for a RG but it would be cheaper for me to keep it, I will bring it to the Dealer and have the Cruise Control fixed again since it is under warranty. I will look for RG Front End Parts and Mounts. Does anyone know where to find them?
I wanted to do the conversion on my 07 SG; I had the motor built. the motor was running strong and I really did not want to part with it---BUT---I wanted a RG.
I searched the treads and I believe one or two guys have done it but this was on the old forum.
I went to the HD dealer to price out the parts once it got above $2000 I stop counting--the cost for parts would have been offset by selling the takeoff parts.
For me it was easier to trade the SG on a RG and build another motor.
