Default new shock time

long story short, bought a use set of 12" progressive 440" a couple years ago now 1 is leaking. great shocks and if I had bought them new, no problem but used no warranty. so I am trying to decide between another set of 440s or a set of works performance . looking for opinions from those who have had both.

I've had 440's on my last 3 bikes and although they are much better than stockers I prefer my new Works Street Trackers.

Default 440's

Member jay Risk has a set of shocks he just is getting back from the factory being fully rebuilt. You may wish to search for his name under members. They are 12". For way more money (I do not know how much more) a member has a set of almost new Arnott with compressor and the whole complete kit. He is here now in Ft. Lauderdale with me. These shocks were put on brand new at Sturgis and I believe he has 350 miles on them. He trailered his bike here for me to work on whie he visits family. He does not have his lap top but I can get him a message if you e-Mail me at my site only. I have nothing to do with the sale of anything listed above.

I had 440's I had the originals, I have also had 6 back surgeries and if you don't talk to Howard at motorcyclemetal.com you're really missing something. He is honest and he will work with you and build you a shock that compares to nothing else. Penske is the platform, but Howard is the genius behind the shock. He has years of expereience and understands riding. I won't have any other shock on my bike. I have a lightly used set of 440's in chrome that are available, but I'd feel badly selling to someone who has the chance of buying Penskes.... I get nothing for telling you what I did except the thrill of knowing that I told the truth and he has the best product out there.
