Oh yes! I have many, many miles in the rain on my Road Glide, including a 900 mile trip from Key West to Atlanta last February when it rained non-stop. There's just no way to stay dry when you ride 15 hours in the pouring rain, even with the best rain gear, but the Road Glide fairing kept the bulk of the spray from hitting me. I was very impressed. And very wet. And did I mention very cold?

Thanks, that is what I wanted to learn.

Rogers huh? That might be a pretty good ride next to all those hills. Thanks.

My expert opinion is that you will get wet on both in the rain and cold on both when it's cold. Glad to be of help.

Just pick the one you like the most. There is no way you like the looks the same you either like the look of the batwing or the look of the sharknose. Both will perform the same in rain and cold, you will be wet and you will be cold. That's what gear is for.
