Looks and sounds like a good product. Keep us posted as I am in the market.

Couple of things: If I fall into the 5% that this unit will not work on, can I just send it back for a refund? And....I do not want mine power coated!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO !!!!

Keep up the good work,

Ben

The garage door opener mod seems fairly popular, for obvious reasons. Not sure I would like having it out in the open like that. Perhaps another solution was to take a regular opener, take it apart and solder the switch connector into the always on position. I then took my fairing off and soldered a couple of leads from my high beam light switch to the battery connectors so that when the high beams got power, so would the opener. I then put the fairing back on. This way, when I fire the high beams, the opener fires and the door opens. Added benefit is that the opener is out of sight, out of the weather, and will only work if the bike is powered. Cost - spare opener, which I had anyway. Not out in the open, not much chance of theft.

I velcroved a small one under my RoadGlide's glove box door.

I agree, I wouldn't leave it out there in the open like that.
Try hanging it somewhere else.

Ditto that! Saved me typing. But before I did that I tyrapped it to the throttle cables under the grip. Kinda outta sight.
