Talking Klock Werks WFB Double Back Headers

Am doing some serious customizing to my new 08 Ultra, including black w/pearl ghost flames paint, blacked out front end, bullet smoked turned signals front and rear, removed the bag rails, and a slew of other major and minor things. One the exhaust side I am considering the Klock Werks WFB Double Back headers with VH's new Monster Oval Mufflers also in black. Have any of you used the WFB DB's? Any issues on heat with the relocated pipes or any other unknown issues? Thanks in advance.

Yup, a few of us have them. Great headers if you are not really looking for power. My next pipes will be a 2-1. Still, I love the Double Backs.

Default Looks good

They look good on yours, no issues with heat? Why do you say they are not good for power? I have the 96" and with the headers and a BS A/C I would think it should make decent enough power to get my big butt down the road. I am a little disappointed in my 96 tho, I had the 254 Cams in my 99 Road King, with duals, same A/C, Jetted carb, SE Ignition, and the Kuryakyn Crusher mufflers and it flat out beats this 96 of the line and even on a roll on. I am hoping for a little better throttle response too once I add the SERT and exhaust.

Love mine and no real heat issues. I paired mine up with Bassani slash cuts and some Big City Thunder baffles in the head pipes. Definitely like the looks.

I have the black WFB with Monster Ovals (love them too by the way), no heat issues on the legs, but do have the overall heat issues plaguing the 08s. And they look like no other, will get lots of compliments.
