Isn't that the same stuff you take on campouts to repell bugs, start fires and use as a creamer in your coffee?

Any automotive paint supply outlet should have adhesive removal wheels that will fit in a drill or die grinder. They make a mess but should work without discoloring the plastic if you don't overheat it. 3M also makes an adhesive remover for stickers, etc. that may be helpful. I've used this and it works well. Try anything you do on an inconspicuous location first just to be sure. Good Luck.

I know I can heat it with a hair dryer to pull it then maybe get away with using Goof Off or Goo Gone to get the adhesive off but am not sure if this will discolor the fairing.

Anyone removed it from theirs and how did it turn out if so.
After you follow the advice on here for removal of the adhesive. If you still have some fading or variations of the finish on the inner fairing surface. Go back to the dealership and for 6 bucks,... purchase that novice #2 plexi glass windshield polish. Red & white plastic squeeze bottle. hand polish that area just as you would your windsheild. It will bring the fairing back to new.

Never thought of this. I'm pretty sure my wife has some of this around. I'll give it a try.

Definatly dont use goof off.It has acetone in it and will eat the plastic.
