New sprocket?

Has anyone changed out their sprocket to gain more lower-end? I thought I came across an aftermarket one someplace, but cant find where I saw it. Just curious.

I use a 30 tooth EVO Industries sprocket that does away with the compensator.

What's the compensator? and are you happy with it? Did you notice a big difference?

Do you have a lot of pulse in the bike at slow speeds Im doing a darkhose crank so Im sure I would be ok there I just worry about vibs

A compensator (compensator sprocket) is the front sprocket in the primary that basically absorbs the power pulses from the crank to smooth out the drive train. I am very happy with it. Since I have an 08 which came with the IDS I don't really notice much pulsing. There is a little more vibration, but that doesn't bother me. I did notice a big difference in my get up and go power. The alternative to losing the compensator is swithching out the tranny sprocket to something like the Andrews setup which will accomplish the same thing, but more work is involved.
