Default exhaust ????

ok motor heads
Ive got 07 rkc with rush slip-on 1 1/2 baffles . Ive already removed the glass packing ... my ?? is ive heard you can remove the baffle and cut it down or shortin it ... has anyone done this?? what did it do to your sound ???

Keith, get a set of 2" baffles (if it's a stock bike) and be done with it. Removing the packing usually makes them sound tinny and cheap. Shortening them means welding the end piece back on and drilling a new hole and I'm not sure what you get for your labor as you'll notice thats not what the mfg. does to make them louder they increase the diameter.

Why don't you just order the next size up 1.75 or 2" and sell the old ones ?
