I didn't know HD sold anything for $13. I'd hate to worry about a $13 set of plugs on over a $20K investment.

I've always used Champions, except in my '03 RK. That one was such a POS that I got rid of it long before it needed new plugs.

Well, I hate to bust bubbles on stock plugs, but you are paying too much. If you look at Champion stk#810 and lay it side by side to a oem HD plug you will notice they are identical. Champion makes them for HD. They are the same heat range.

I am an hour from a dealer and 5 minutes from NAPA. Have run nothing but Champions in my evo. Did try the expensive plugs and found no difference in performance or mpg. Went back to Champions.

There's the best statement in this thread. People will pay $8 a quart for oil, but only $.88 for spark plugs??

Someone else said it also, I've been told if there's no major upgrades to the engine, the stock plugs are fine. One less warranty issue to worry about.
