Any lowering kit that lowers much over an inch can bottom out and cut or damage your under the fender wiring. I cut mine in less than 50 miles with the 2 inch setting, and lost all rear lights. It does not seem to bottom out in the 1 inch hole. This is on a 2007 ultra,with 175lb rider, with road 6 custm kit.
If you keep the shock air pressure up you may not bottom out. For those who are using these, check you wiring harness. I rerouted mine and ran it on top of the fender and back in just in front of the license plate.
