in 2010, you will see a water cooled HD motor over 100 cu inches to replace the 96er... The EPA mandated stricter regulations that go into effect in 2010 and HD can stretch the venerable air cooled 96 no further..

If you like water cooled, it's coming soon and if you don't you'd better pony up for an 09 or older now while you can. Bet on it!

But just the same, I think his message is rather clear: Don't do Drugs!

What do you think about that ? it,s better buy know before a new and ??? engine.

The Rocket III actually needs a bigger radiator. Several reviews I've read said it's like saddling up a pot belly stove to ride and on hot summer days is almost unbearable because of the heat generation. I think HD can manage to do something inconspicuous near the bottom of the frame reminiscent of a large oil cooler to satisfy the water cooling and maintain the look most want. I'd like one (but not the first year).

Moving the ignition coil to under the seat,
does free up room for a rad. The new engine mounts are
similar to the V Rod.

Im just saying . . .

Lets all sound out those words.

Thats ok, your english is better than my french. Like many others here, I think a new liquid cooled HD is in their future. I just don't think we'll know about it until it hits the showroom floor.

Glad I'm not alone in making sense of this post. WTF is right. I thought the california bikes were already 2010 compliant with the cats and canister. If thats the case ther maybe something new for them but the rest of us will still see the same bikes as usual only with a canister on it. Pleased that we don't have CARB in Missouri. Only 8 months and we will find out for sure. I hope the 96" motor is more than just a 3 year run.
